Jamback’s “Positive” Is Now Beatport’s Longest-Running #1 Track
Fisher’s “Losing It” finally meets its match as the Dutch producer sets a new all-time chart record.

Landing a #1 on Beatport is a career milestone. Holding onto that spot for more than two months? That’s the kind of flex that earns permanent bragging rights. Starting off the year strong, Dutch DJ/producer Jamback made Beatport history as his CircoLoco Records single “Positive” became the longest-running #1 track the platform has ever seen, officially dethroning FISHER's 2018 smash “Losing It” after a 62-day reign. “Positive” sat at the top of the charts for a total of 64 days at #1 – a new all-time record and a serious statement of its dance floor impact.
Released November 7, 2025, “Positive” sprinted up the charts with its blend of bubbling synth tension, a rolling late-night bassline, and a cathartic sense of lift. It delivers the kind of pressure that house DJs love to weaponize at peak time. But behind the club punch sits a much more personal origin story. Written after losing his mother to lung cancer, Jamback transformed raw grief into a groove that feels cathartic, uplifting, and – fittingly – incredibly positive. As the track’s press notes describe, it’s a release born from “loss, reflection, and resilience,” bridging emotion and functionality in a way that sticks.
Once Chris Stussy opened his Coachella 2025 set with it, the track basically entered global orbit. From there, the support list snowballed: Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, East End Dubs, Rossi, Sidney Charles, Toman – all rinsing it, all helping cement Jamback as one of Europe’s most exciting club-ready exports. “Positive” also earned a spot on Beatportal’s 50 Best Tracks of 2025 roundup, solidifying its place as one of the year’s true club anthems.
For Jamback, the achievement carries heavy personal weight:
Holding the longest-running number one spot across all genres on Beatport feels incredibly special and honestly, quite surreal. I want to dedicate this achievement to my mum, who passed away two years ago and is still a constant source of inspiration in my life and music.
This record means more to me than just a chart position. If there’s one thing I hope people take from it, it’s a reminder to always stay positive, even during the moments when life feels heavy or uncertain. Thank you to everyone who danced, streamed, and played this track. It means a lot.
From everyone at Beatport: huge congratulations to Jamback and CircoLoco Records on this historic run – we’ll be keeping ears to the floor to see what kind of dance-floor magic they conjure up next.
