For a while, Joel Corry’s VIP extended remix of Jennifer Lopez’s 2005 single, “Get Right,” could only be heard in his sets. Now, the club weapon is exclusively available via Beatport – an early Christmas present built to bang on dance floors into the new year.
On it, the English producer triggers a vibe shift that takes “Get Right” from day to night, trading the sunlit, glossy house grooves of his June single for late-night ambiance and low-end pressure. In true Corry fashion, this one bottles live-for-the-weekend energy, hip-shaking appeal, and floor-filling grit into one peak-time moment just waiting to be mixed in.
“I like to make VIP mixes for most of my tracks. They have less vocals with harder drops and are great for my heavier club and festival sets,” Corry tells Beatportal. “Sometimes I keep them unreleased, but the ‘Get Right VIP Mix’ was working so well in my sets, I wanted DJs to have it. It’s been a staple of my sets for months, and I’m excited to give it an official release.”
