Anyma’s foot is back on the gas, accelerating toward the deluxe edition of The End Of Genesys. While the extended version might have some sonic surprises in store, “Out Of My Body” won’t be one of them. The single reads from the album’s playbook for build and release, sleekly staging tension and delivering relief in an atmospheric swell of synths accented by airy, spatial vocals from EJAE, the lead vocalist of K-Pop Demon Hunters’ smash hit “Golden” (shortlisted for Best Original Song at the Oscars).

“Out Of My Body” feels full and expansive. With it comes the clear sense that this vocal-led format — which Anyma has increasingly leaned into on tracks like “Pictures Of You,” “Hypnotized” with Ellie Goulding, and “Fortuna” alongside Sevdaliza — continues to click. Listen below.

The deluxe edition of The End Of Genesys is due on December 31 and will feature eight new songs and three remixes:

In September, Anyma told fans that his and RÜFÜS DU SOL's highly anticipated (and long-awaited) collaboration, "You Make Me," would not land on The End Of Genesys (Deluxe). "I'm hopeful that one day, it's going to come out and we're going to figure this out, but it's not on the deluxe album, sorry," he shared with the crowd assembled at "A Conversation With Anyma," an intimate live Q&A hosted at the GRAMMY Museum's Clive Davis Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

In the meantime, “Out Of My Body” is out now via Interscope Records. Buy it on Beatport.
