Since launching in 2021, Beatport Next has been about catching artists at the moment things start to click and helping push that momentum forward. In 2025, that energy came through loud and clear via a global cohort of 12 artists shaping club culture right now: Azzecca, DJ Fucci, Grace Dahl, IN2STELLAR, LUXE, Ma Sha, P-rallel, SICARIA, Slim Soledad, St. David, Tailor Jae, and Thakzin.
Across the year, this group dropped a run of releases that landed hard in clubs and on charts. Azzecca stepped into a new chapter with festival-ready cuts, Dance of the Desert, and the launch of her Cosimea Sounds label. DJ Fucci released his debut album Por Mi Música Hablará el Espíritu, blending electro-futurism with Latin influences. Grace Dahl doubled down on peak-time techno with System Failure, and I Want To Dance, while IN2STELLAR and LUXE explored sleek, emotional club territory through a series of forward-facing singles. Ma Sha had a huge year, rolling out the Hydrofall EP and a string of high-impact collaborations.
P-rallel kept UK club music moving with soulful, groove-led tracks like Can’t Be Me and Blessings. SICARIA turned pressure into power on the Anti Nihilo EP, Brazil's Slim Soledad balanced vulnerability and dance floor weight on releases like Jetlag Queen, and St. David continued flying the flag for timeless house. Tailor Jae brought sharp-edged club energy all year, while Thakzin expanded the Afro House conversation with his debut album God’s Window (Pt. 1).
The program also put these artists on major stages. Ma Sha and Azzecca played The Block at Junction 2 – Beatport’s mobile shipping container stage. Tailor Jae touched down with Dr. Dubplate & friends in London for our Beatport Live Open Air with SOS x Airspace, and SICARIA delivered a standout set at Beatport Live LA. In addition, Grace Dahl, Tailor Jae, Slim Soledad, IN2STELLAR, and P-rallel joined us in Amsterdam for our Beatport Next Artist Showcase at ADE.
Throughout 2025, we also released a mini documentary for each Beatport Next artist, offering deeper insight into their worlds, and curated a dedicated Beatport chart highlighting their most important releases of the year.
