Say Nothing” plays like a directive to just shut up and dance

After rubbing shoulders in a series of b2bs this year – most prominently at Pacha Ibiza – Solomun and Denis Sulta serve up solid grooves on a silver platter on what is, yes, their debut collaboration. Even so, there’s nothing green, new, or altogether unexpected about this cut’s polish. One spin makes it clear that the selectors’ synergy has flown straight from the booth to “Say Nothing,” a supple package of sleek synthwork and pulsing basslines built not just to hum on dance floors, but to silence them. Listen below.

The single promises to be a bright yellow highlight of Solomun’s New Year’s Eve shows at The Warehouse Project and Brixton Academy, and, beyond that, his hotly anticipated debut at London’s Alexandra Palace in February. It beams just as brilliantly for Sulta, who celebrated the 10th anniversary of his career-defining hit, “It’s Only Real,” with a 2025 rework last month and now carries that momentum forward on “Say Nothing.” Not for nothing, "It's Only Real" is still the number one song on Sulta's Top Ten Tracks list on the Beatport store.

Solomun and Denis Sulta’s debut collaboration is out now via Solomun’s Diynamic. Buy it on Beatport.
