2025: The year that brought Breaks to dancefloors everywhere.
“Muita” is the icing on the cake for any DJ set.

Since the foundation of 83 in 2016, the label’s goal has been clear: to bring breakbeat to new audiences through original and innovative productions. Over the years, we’ve seen Techno, House and other genre DJs support tracks from our catalogue, signed by artists such as Nosk, MBreaks, Bowser, Le Duke, and many more.
But the case of “Muita”, by Yo Speed, has had a different kind of impact—both on the public and on the artists who include it in their sets. We may well be looking at the independent track of the year.
Yo Speed has been part of the label for several years now, delivering standout hits like “Sweet Pie” and “Domingo Psicodélico”, all showcasing the producer’s unmistakable Andalusian style.
The idea for “Muita” arose—according to Rubén himself, aka Yo Speed—from his search for a “spark” between Electro, UKG-inspired basslines, and a vocal hook capable of instantly connecting with the audience.
Originally, “Muita” wasn’t intended to be a hit; it was simply another track from the album "Deep Confessions". Even so, it was clear during his sets that it generated a particularly strong reaction.
As soon as it was released, artists as diverse as Fred Again.., Chris Avantgarde, Avalon Emerson, Gorgon City, Haai, Hiroko Yamamura, and Patrick Mason, to name just a few, began including it in their sets. The result: hundreds of thousands of people have danced to it, listened to it, and used it across social media from day one.
This global interest has also echoed on Beatport, where “Muita” has topped the Breaks chart since its release in July of this year.
Yo Speed’s success is the direct result of discipline, dedication, and a passion for sharing original ideas and high-quality music. At 83, we feel fully aligned with this vision: it has been our ethos from the very beginning. We proudly uphold our self-imposed responsibility to innovate, take creative risks, and support both well-established names in our scene and emerging artists looking to develop their musical projects with us.
Other tracks like “Groove Tool” by myself, “Python” by Bowser, and “Jarto” by Dub Elements have been paving the way for Spanish producers to reach major festivals and clubs, connecting with bigger audiences every weekend. This momentum is establishing Spain as the paradise for real Breakbeat fans.
2025 has been an excellent year for 83 and all of our artists, and we celebrate it briefly before getting back to work with the same humility and motivation as day one, committed to continuing to create the soundtrack of the new ’20s.
