Dance music’s villain conductor, Nikita the Wicked, unleashes one of his most fully realized works yet: the six-track EP BLINDED BY VANITY, out now on Helix Records. The project marks a bold new evolution for Nikita the Wicked, showcasing his villainous creativity and sharpened artistic vision.

Nikita the Wicked:
"BLINDED BY VANITY is my second concept project. I like to do these EPs as different characters. Each project is basically an evolution of the ‘villain’ character. The conductor persona spawns from the heavy use of orchestral sampling. BBV is my reflection of the past year. With a massive year of growth, my perception of myself altered. This project is a painted world, beyond the shadows lies a new wicked tale."

The EP unfolds as a cinematic villain’s journey, beginning with the film-score intro “DOOM” and moving into the nostalgic lift of “LOUDER” before descending into darker bass textures. “CONTROL” with Elohim contrasts warm sax lines, sharp bass stabs, and soft vocals, while “SUCKERS” blends grunge mystique, orchestral drama, and primal percussion. “LOOK” featuring Emi Grace channels Nikita’s signature orchestral chaos into a high-drama, bass-driven anthem, and the finale “SHAKE” closes with trap-leaning tension and a commanding villainous flair

Nikita has shared stages with leading bass acts including Zeds Dead, REZZ, Illenium, Ivy Lab, Jauz, SLANDER, and NGHTMRE, and has performed at major festivals such as Lost Lands, Project Glow, Escapade Canada, GRIDLIFE, Infrasound, and Goldrush. He recently brought his dark, cinematic energy to Escape Halloween, commanding one of California’s largest festival crowds and showcasing the full force of his villainous artistry.
