Tollef Keeps Momentum With Emotional Track ‘Won’t Let Go’

A Feel Good Rhythm paired with Bright Chords And Playful Touches

TOLLEF WONT LET GO 2 16x9

Tollef keeps the momentum of his Say Cheese EP going with “Won’t Let Go,” a track about being caught between moving on and holding tight. A feel-good rhythm paired with vocals that speak of not being able to let someone go gives the song both emotional depth and dancefloor appeal. Bright chords and playful touches in the production lift the mood, even as the lyrics stay grounded in longing. Out now on Oliver Heldens’ OH2 Records, it’s one of the EP’s most touching yet energetic songs: a track that makes you move, while hitting a little deeper.

Tollef: “If you need a song to dedicate to your significant other while you’re dancing into the sunset, look no further. Won’t Let Go is a song that came really easy. So easy that I decided to sing on it myself. Cheers to all our loved ones of whom we cannot let go. Bring them out to dance!”

Tollef is a familiar face on OH2 Records: the Norwegian producer and guitarist is now becoming a cornerstone artist on Oliver Heldens’ imprint. His latest Say Cheese EP gained support from top-tier DJs such as Oliver Heldens, Martin Garrix, Mike Williams, Blasterjaxx, Sam Feldt, Bingo Players, and Moguai.

To accompany the EP, each release is being supported by a dedicated Beatportal interview series, in which Tollef dives deeper into the theme of each track. He often delivers official remixes, recently reworking “Heart Cry” by Oliver Heldens & Poppy Baskcomb, which quickly became one of the standout tracks from the Heart Cry Remix Pack. His music has also been featured in popular TV shows such as Love Island UK and Made in Chelsea.
