Azalée Redefines Dreamscapes with “Onir”
With their second release “Onir,” French duo Azalée continue to shape a unique sonic identity rooted in melodic storytelling.

The title comes from the word “onirique,” referring to the borderland between dreams and consciousness. “We wanted the listener to feel carried away, like in a lucid dream,” they explain.
At the heart of the track lies a deep, cyclical melody, the spark that guided the entire creative process. Synths built mainly with Diva and Serum surround the lead in warm textures, while soft analog-inspired percussion keeps the journey grounded. The challenge, they admit, was finding the right balance: “We had to ensure every sound had space to breathe while keeping the track immersive and rich.”
One of their proudest moments is the rise where the main melody unveils itself: wide, emotional, and subtly powerful. “It still gives us chills every time. We spent so much time crafting that arrival so it would feel completely natural.”
Following their debut “Photons,” this new release represents a deeper exploration of emotion and atmosphere: “Onir goes further into softness and immersion.”
Their hope is simple: “We want ‘Onir’ to offer a moment of pause, a breath. If listeners can close their eyes and feel hypnotized, then we’ve succeeded.”
A serene, introspective escape, “Onir” invites you to drift.
