Toy Tonics just dropped a brand-new 20-minute documentary diving into the collective’s explosive rise and the joyful club culture they’ve helped ignite across Europe and beyond. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Manuel Werner, The World of Toy Tonics traces four years of the crew’s journey – from intimate 300-person underground jams in Berlin to hosting more than 440 parties across 20 countries, including regular takeovers at some of the world's most pivotal clubs. Built around community, creativity, and a technicolor blend of funk, disco, indie dance, and house, the film drops viewers straight onto the dance floor, celebrating a movement defined by positivity, openness, and a naturally phone-free vibe.

"The dance world is in a big vibe-changing moment. It's beautiful to see how a new generation of young music lovers want to dance to positive and diverse quality dance music now," Toy Tonics founder Kapote tells Beatportal. "To new funk, house, to indie dance and all kinds of good-vibes disco. In Berlin and around Europe. These kids come to dance, not to take photos. And Toy Tonics seems to be their preferred music crew. German movie director Manuel Werner has been observing this new wave and offered to make a documentary about this mood change and the growth of Toy Tonics around the world. In his movie, he shows how the Toy Tonics crew started to propose this new vibe and sound at the first parties in illegal spaces in Berlin a few years ago, and how the popularity grew and Toy Tonics got invited to bring their vibe to clubs like Panorama Bar, Rex and Phonox - and finally ended up doing almost 200 parties all over the world in 2025."
