Hospital Records joins forces with Let It Roll Festival for the New Home EP – a five-track collaborative project featuring Anaïs, Flava D, Fred V, Hoax and Urbandawn. Uniting talent from across the drum & bass spectrum, the release stands as a powerful tribute to the Czech Republic’s legendary festival.
Flava D’s ‘Voyager’ sets the tone in stunning fashion. Deviating from her traditional flavour of D&B, its incredibly dynamic sound design and shifting textures perfectly usher in the project’s sonic journey.
Released as the first single on 25th July, Urbandawn’s ‘The 5th’ follows with bold flair. Built around a striking Beethoven sample and dazzling production, it launched Let It Roll’s new ambassador program and soundtracked the festival’s opening ceremony.
Hoax’ ‘Genesis’ (30th October) is an explosive display of energy – fierce, textured and cinematic in equal measure. Hoax steps confidently into the spotlight, delivering a dark and dangerous follow-up that excellently captures the spirit of the Czech festival.
Anaïs’ ‘Empire’ then shifts the energy – weaving global influences into an ever-evolving soundscape, and highlighting her staple versatility and creativity.
Closing the EP, Fred V’s ‘Home’ is equal parts sentimental and heavy-hitting. It wholly encapsulates the Let It Roll experience, bringing the New Home EP full circle.
