Tiësto Cements His Trance Homecoming on "Bring Me To Life" with FORS
After months of teasing his return to his roots, Tiësto formalizes it with the potent trance record – the first single from his forthcoming album, due next year.

Tiësto's new single, “Bring Me To Life,” is a decisive return to his roots that trains the spotlight on trance – a genre that’s shown early signs of a revival all year long. Still, it doesn’t get any more official than this: a pyro-adjacent, mainstage moment with soaring vocals from FORS that shone accordingly during the "Godfather of EDM's" closing set at Dreamstate on November 23.
As those who've paid attention will remember, the producer has hinted at his trance homecoming several times throughout the year, from his two-hour "In Search of Sunshine" set at EDC Las Vegas in May, to the launch of his new concept, PRISMATIC. The “four-hour musical journey,” as he calls it, is essentially his own Eras Tour that consolidates the kaleidoscopic range of genres he’s worked in and across – trance, progressive house, slap house, bigroom house, and beyond – into a one-of-a-kind live show.
PRISMATIC debuted in Mexico City in June and is said to have inspired “Bring Me To Life," the first single from Tiësto's forthcoming album, set to arrive next year. Listen below.
“Bring Me To Life” arrives just ahead of Tiësto’s next PRISMATIC show at the Great Pyramids of Giza on December 19, which will offer fans an extended opportunity to experience his “new sound.”
“My connection to dance music has never been stronger. Playing these new sounds live and feeling the energy from the crowd has been unbelievable!” Tiësto said in a statement. “It’s pushed me into this new era and inspired the direction of both the single and the album. This moment feels more authentic and exciting than ever, and I can’t wait for all that’s to come.”
In the meantime, “Bring Me To Life” is out now via Atlantic Records. Buy it on Beatport.
