Producers can now download the stems and rework the duo’s dark collaborative single for a chance at an official release.
DEATHPIXIE and Skylar Grey have launched an official remix competition for their collaborative single “Let You Lie,” inviting producers to reinterpret one of the darkest and most distinctive records circulating in the underground right now. The stems are now open, and the team behind the release is looking for remixes that push deep into the shadows of dubstep, techno and experimental bass.
The original track blends DEATHPIXIE’s cinematic, high-speed sonic identity with Skylar Grey’s unmistakable vocal presence. It sits at the intersection of two worlds. DEATHPIXIE, a fast-rising digital force whose music bridges phonk, trap, techno and bass music, has quickly become a phenomenon across platforms, gaining millions of streams and a reputation for an immersive, dystopian aesthetic.
