Black Book Records welcomes the return of TOBEHONEST with his new two-tracker, ‘Fallin’ / Danger (with Broken Hill)’, a showcase of the LA producer’s instinct for groove and rhythm. Following his breakout debut ‘Maquina De Bailar’ on Black Book ID’s — a track that became a staple in Lake’s sets across 2022 and 2023 — along with ‘Where Ya At’ and his recent remix of ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’, TOBEHONEST returns with a refined sound where his true voice shines through.
The A-Side: ‘Fallin’
‘Fallin’ strikes with a warm strum bassline, delicate vocals, and a bending metallic lead that washes in and out for a great exercise in tension and release. With its punching synth work, crisp percussion, and infectious groove, it’s a late-night weapon built for the floor — equal parts attitude, movement, and reward.
The B-Side: ‘Danger’
