On Friday, November 21st, Deep Root Records’ imprint Deep Root Tribe presents ‘Ya Wayli’, the latest Arab Afro House anthem by visionary DJ and producer Dany Neville, Lebanese singer Assi El Helani, and North African DJ Massala.
‘Ya Wayli’ is inspired by Dany Neville’s Lebanese roots and the sounds that shaped his childhood, resulting in a vibrant fusion of traditional and modern rhythms. For this record, Neville teamed up with the legendary Lebanese singer and actor Assi El Halani, known for his outstanding Arab vocal techniques, and with the incredibly talented young producer Massala.
In this release, Dany bridges cultures and generations through sound, weaving traditional Arabic vocals with deep 3-step and Afro House grooves, elevated by Amapiano and Gqom-inspired log drums and rhythmic patterns. The result is a powerful, soulful record that celebrates heritage, rhythm, and unity.
