Azzecca kicks off a bold new chapter with the launch of Cosimea Sounds, a record label born from the spirit, aesthetic, and community-first ethos of her fast-rising Cosimea event series. A cherished member of the Beatport Next Class of 2025, the Chicago-based artist wastes no time setting the tone for her imprint’s future with its debut single, “AL’S HOT SOUP,” which follows the release of her massive summer tune "Forbidden Fruit" on REALM Records and fan-favorite “Dance Of The Desert” on Higher Ground.
Rooted in Azzecca’s high-energy blend of cosmic, psychedelic house, techno, and trance, Cosimea Sounds is positioned as a playground for “otherworldly club sounds,” complete with the signature cats-and-aliens aesthetic that has become synonymous with the project. True to form, the label’s first release is a thumping, joyful, and galactic trip – complete with stunning synth motifs and shimmering builds – that nods to her infamous homemade soups and magnetic, playful spirit. “Cosimea began as an event project aimed at building community and re-centering the focus on the dance floor,” she says. “Creating this cosmic world pushed my production into new territory, and I knew I needed a platform free from the pressure of fitting into the current label landscape.”
