Altered View Release Psychedelic New Wave Single “Triumph”
Altered View unveil Triumph, the third single from their upcoming debut Midnight Area, accompanied by a trippy official video from BAFTA award-winning director Kieran Evans. Blending New Wave, Indie Dance and vivid psychedelia, the release hints at a broader scope for the duo’s sound.

“This is the time of our lives". Johnny Midnight drops the line at the top of Altered View’s new single Triumph, and it sets the tone for a track that steps slightly outside the project’s usual frame. The third cut from the forthcoming Midnight Area leans more toward songcraft than the album’s electronic minimalism, drawing on New Wave urgency and the pulse of contemporary Indie Dance while keeping the duo’s atmospheric imprint intact.
The official video, directed by BAFTA award-winner Kieran Evans, opens with “all that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream” before slipping into full psychedelia. Evans, who has directed videos for Working Men’s Club, Hot Chip, Manic Street Preachers, Death In Vegas and Beyond The Wizards Sleeve among many others, builds a world of morphing shapes, soft hallucinations and shifting focus, matching the track’s melodic lift with visual instability.
Triumph signals that Midnight Area won’t settle into a single mode. Altered View are threading New Wave colour, Indie Dance propulsion and their own narrative undercurrent into something that feels quietly self-assured. The full album drops February 2026.
