Beatport x Elijah: There Aren’t Enough DJs
In our latest 'If You Love Music, You’re Already a DJ' episode, Elijah teams up with DJ AG ONLINE to explore why more takes and unique tastes keep DJ culture moving forward.

In case you missed it: over the past few months we’ve been working with Elijah on If You Love Music, You’re Already a DJ, a series about what it means to experience, share and be part of electronic music and the culture around it.
So far, our conversations have taken us through a variety of timely topics. Jubilee spoke about not getting hung up on the perfect DJ setup, 3024 boss Martyn detailed the pitfalls of DJ worship in dance music culture, and Beatport Next artist SICARIA showed us broke down why playlist curation is, in itself, a true form of DJing.
Now, Elijah links up with someone he calls “the most important DJ in the UK” — DJ AG ONLINE. The North London selector is known for his community-driven approach, championing music from the Black British diaspora and uplifting new artists in the process. Together, they dig into why more takes and unique tastes keep culture moving – and how expanding the idea of DJing beyond the club is reshaping what it can mean entirely. From viral street sets across London to performances in care homes, AG represents a more open, accessible, and forward-thinking vision of what a DJ can be.
Check out the conversation below and keep an eye out for Elijah's upcoming playlist challenge.
