Cocoon Recordings is celebrating 25 years in the game with 25 Years Cocoon Recordings – Volume One, the first half of a two-part anniversary release that dives deep into the label’s past, present, and future.
This deluxe release features 15 exclusive cuts from a stacked lineup of Cocoon heavyweights and new-school favorites alike, including Butch, Robag Wruhme, Josh Wink, Guy J, Extrawelt, Harvey McKay, Damiano von Erckert, Raxon, Jonathan Kaspar, and more.
Since Sven Väth launched the label back in 2000, Cocoon has been a cornerstone of underground dance music – shaping global techno culture while keeping things bold, free, and forward-thinking.
“Cocoon Recordings was never just a label," Väth tells Beatportal. "It was a cultural space from day one, a home for visionaries. I wanted to create a platform where artists could unfold freely, beyond trends and boundaries.”
