Mathame, JONOS, and Son of Son Deliver Striking Single, "Meet Me"

Mathame’s latest single is arresting fodder for the dance floor, so it makes sense that the Italian duo will celebrate the release of their titillating collaboration with JONOS and Son of Son, “Meet Me” there. From November 7 through 8, Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli will take their new candidate for heavy rotation from coast to coast, starting with a show at Brooklyn’s 53 Scott Ave, followed by a set at Sound in Los Angeles. The pair of performances will go “all night,” say Mathame, who’ve also implemented a no phones policy to foster connection from the evening’s first track through the morning’s last.

There, “Meet Me” will bring a brooding ambiance to the packed floors, as it’s done in the weeks precipitating its arrival via Mathame’s eponymous imprint. After debuting at the brothers’ performance at Creamfields Argentina, the lithe single surfaced in Anyma’s sets at UNVRS Ibiza’s closing weekend party and Quantum Genesys at the Great Pyramids of Giza. 

In the time since, “Meet Me” hasn’t just captured attention - it’s held it. Topped by vocals from JONOS and Son of Son that haunt like an incantation, the one-off is a diamond-sharp rendering of Mathame’s EmoTech concept, where emotion and technology cohere in soundscapes both resonant and evocative. Said to be "another leap in our endless search for that place where sound and technology become emotions," the single trails Mathame's recent preview of "NEOLOGY," a saga "written and crafted" over the past few years by the Giovanelli brothers and their team. The story, rooted in futuristic themes, including artificial intelligence, will come to life through a series of visually-driven shows (dubbed "NEO") across festivals and other select locations, Mathame shared on Instagram.
