Sarah de Warren and POPOF are bringing nocturnal energy to HILOMATIK with ‘Dark Skies’
Following up UK-France techno collab on HI-LO’s imprint

French techno heavyweight POPOF is making his long-awaited HILOMATIK debut, alongside UK vocalist Sarah de Warren with ‘Dark Skies’. A fast-paced techno journey, it mirrors the shifting moods of a stormy night and firmly plants POPOF in the HILOMATIK family. For Sarah, it’s a return to HI-LO’s imprint after her collaboration with the label boss himself on ‘Born To Love’ earlier this year, showing once again how her vocals thrive in these shadowy, high-intensity releases.
Sarah de Warren: “Me and POPOF released a big record earlier this year called ‘Reactivated’ and we both get crazy reactions whenever we drop it in our sets, so we knew we needed to follow it up with another collab. I sent him the idea I had for ‘Dark Skies’ and he came back to me with this incredible demo and we knew we had something magic. I texted HI-LO with the ID and he quickly got back to me saying he loved it and wanted to sign it… Making music with POPOF is a dream and I hope we do a lot more bangers together!”
POPOF: "After the success of the first release called ‘Reactivated’, we decided to create ‘Dark Skies’."
Sarah de Warren and POPOF previously worked together on ‘Reactivated’, released on Reinier Zonneveld’s techno label Filth on Acid in March 2025.
