Metrik's fourth studio album is on the horizon – a bold new chapter in drum & bass. London-based producer, vocalist, and DJ Metrik returns in 2025 with 'Awake', a 12-track odyssey that pushes drum & bass into uncharted territory. Five years in the making, the album marks his most ambitious and personal work to date – a fusion of ferocious energy, immersive world-building, and raw emotion.
Following the release of ‘Hole’ alongside Rou Reynolds & Filthy Pig, Metrik returns with ‘Setting Sun’ – channeling the cyber-aesthetic of the early 2000s with arpeggiators, vocal manipulation, and soaring synths.
Fuelled by his own songwriting, vocals, and multi-instrumental performances, the track captures both vulnerability and scale – equally at home in headphones or on the main stage.
