As part of The Beatportal Residency, Bristol-based Timedance delivers a special mix by rising star Daisy Moon, celebrating the label’s 10-year journey in bass and techno. The mix features selections from the 10th-anniversary compilation TD10, blending tracks from Timedance mainstays like Batu, Polygonia, and Yaleesa Hall with fresh sounds from emerging talents including Verraco, BADSISTA, and Xu Lai.
Since its founding in 2015 by Batu (Omar McCutcheon), Timedance has thrived on creative collaboration and a DIY ethos, pushing artists outside their comfort zones while maintaining a distinctly Bristol-rooted identity. Daisy Moon’s mix captures the label’s evolution—merging gritty underground energy with forward-looking club sounds—and offers listeners a glimpse into the bold, unpredictable future of Timedance.
“I’d rather have no clue where the label will be next year,” says label manager Paul Boumendil. “It allows things to shape organically.”
