Amelie Lens Drops Searing Single, "Young Forever"
The Belgian producer has used the formidable number as her sets' closing track for the past few months.

Techno innovator Amelie Lens meshes acid, trance, and house into a visceral cut that, for the past several months, has served as her sets’ closing track. Led by a lyrical sentiment that always seems to resonate most when we’re working overtime on the dance floor – “I just want to be this young forever” – “Young Forever” harnesses a dark, entrancing allure and a striking techno beat that’ll keep us there, feeling that.
The single plays with texture, juxtaposing its airy vocal with its techno muscle. It’s forward-thinking and fresh, executed with a tightness that’s trademark Lens. Listen below.
The one-off adds yet another exclamation point to what’s already been a statement year for the Belgian producer. Highlights include some of her biggest-ever headline shows (like closing Tomorrowland’s mainstage), the debut of her new live concept, Aura, and a steady stream of strong releases, including an emphatic remix of Anyma, Argy, and Son of Son’s “Voices In My Head” and her Serenity EP. Lens’ energy, sound, and output certainly feel the product of someone young forever.
"Young Forever" is out now via Sony Music Germany. Buy it on Beatport.
