Mode99 Redefines Timeless Energy with “One Last Time”
Mode99 returns with his most ambitious project yet, One Last Time, a progressive house journey that captures both nostalgia and forward motion.

Originally sketched nearly a decade ago, the track now emerges as a testament to persistence and artistic growth. “The title is a reminder to myself that there is always another chance to reach your goals,” Mode99 shares.
The track is built on a foundation of ambient chords and intricate layers, designed to evoke the ethereal atmosphere of Red Rocks, a venue that left a profound mark on the artist’s early concert experiences. “The feeling is always out of this world, like floating or pure euphoria. That’s exactly what I wanted to translate into music,” he explains.
One of the standout elements of One Last Time is its opening bassline, a passage Mode99 takes particular pride in. “It gives me the most excitement and has been the most unique bassline I have created so far.” With synthesizers like the Arturia Keylab and Behringer PolyD, he crafted a sound both powerful and airy, striking a balance between depth and lightness.
The track’s influences span Klangkarussell, Kidnap, Ben C & Kalsx, Adrien Kepler, and Aaron Decay, weaving together moody atmospheres and progressive energy. Yet, Mode99 insists the meaning belongs to the listener: “The dark sound doesn’t mean dark feelings are necessary. I believe music is created by the artist but the meaning is created by the audience.”
With One Last Time, Mode99 delivers not just a track, but a suspended moment where time itself seems to pause.
