The Chainsmokers Announce New EP, 'Breathe'
The Chainsmokers are back with 'Breathe', a new eight-track EP that captures the duo at a moment of creative clarity. Blending their pop instincts with a deeper electronic pulse, it feels like both a reflection and a reset.

The Chainsmokers are entering a new phase. The duo’s upcoming EP 'Breathe', out October 24, marks their first full project since 'No Hard Feelings' in 2024. It captures a return to the melodic, emotional sound that first pushed them into global consciousness, while showing clear signs of growth in both writing and production.
The record spans eight tracks and reflects a sharper focus on mood and atmosphere. Four singles already hint at the shape of things to come. “Smooth,” released in September, turns social clumsiness into an anthem of connection. “Helium,” “White Wine & Adderall,” and “Spaces” explore intimacy, memory, and escape, tying together a release that feels cohesive without repeating old formulas.
'Breathe' arrives alongside a heavy tour schedule across North America and Mexico. The duo will continue their Las Vegas residency at XS Nightclub, perform at Palm Tree Music Festival in Napa on October 11, and headline Festival Pulso GNP in Santiago de Querétaro on October 25.
Rather than reinventing themselves again, The Chainsmokers sound grounded and focused. 'Breathe' shows a duo comfortable in their own skin, leaning into emotion and melody without overthinking it. The production is tight, the songwriting direct, and the feeling unmistakably theirs.
