Sara Landry Harnesses Her Power on “GIRLBOSS”
The hard techno high priestess plants her foot firmly on the gas for her Insomniac Records debut.

Sara Landry says “GIRLBOSS” is the start of a “new era,” but the self-assured single flaunts the same alpha energy that’s continuously propelled hard techno’s high priestess to new echelons. It’s only fitting that the HEKATE Records head lends her tongue to the track, half-singing its witty quips with effortless panache over hammering production.
“GIRLBOSS is a bouncy bop for the girly-pops! I wanted to make a bouncy baddie track that makes me feel like a boss, so I did,” she shares.
Clearly, the feeling wasn’t limited to Landry herself. After premiering during her debut Coachella performance in April, the high-octane, lipstick-kissed ID has since soundtracked nearly 8,000 TikTok videos. This cultural resonance and resulting fanfare now bring “GIRLBOSS” to Insomniac Records for Landry’s formidable label debut. Listen below.
Landry’s latest sparkplug of a single arrives just ahead of her headline set at the October 17 installment of Insomniac and Tomorrowland’s UNITY residency at Sphere Las Vegas. Like its creator, “GIRLBOSS” isn’t afraid to take up space – or dominate it.
“GIRLBOSS” is out now via Insomniac Records. Buy it on Beatport.
