Glastonbury Festival will return from June 23 through 27, 2027, following a "fallow year" in 2026 that will allow the land in its longtime location, Worthy Farm, to rest. The 2026 fallow year will be the cattle farm's first since 2018.
"The fallow year is important because it gives the land a rest, it gives the cows a chance to be out longer and reclaim their land," Glastonbury Festival co-organizer Emily Eavis told Annie Mcmanus and Nick Grimshaw in the June 10, 2024, episode of BBC's Sidetracked podcast. "Sustainability and the need to live in harmony with the land has always been vital to Glastonbury Festival."
Ticket information will become available in mid-2026, with the lineup to follow in early 2027, according to BBC News.
In the meantime, organizers are hosting a prize draw for the first 25 pairs of tickets to the event, with proceeds benefiting the charity Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). The draw is currently open from now through noon on November 7. Enter here.
