Armada Music Plants Its Flag in London With a Massive New Creative Hub

London’s Shoreditch just got louder. Armada Music Group—the force behind the world’s largest independent dance label and the industry’s first dedicated dance music investment fund—has cut the ribbon on a sprawling new six-floor complex designed to push its global roster deeper into one of dance culture’s most influential cities.

The 7,000-square-foot Old Street space is less office, more playground: two custom-built recording studios packed with high-end gear, an intimate event venue with an L-Acoustics club system and streaming setup, listening rooms primed for A&R sessions, and room for 60 full-time staff. In short, it’s a one-stop shop for artists, writers, and producers to create, collaborate, and test their music in the thick of London’s nightlife district.

“Working in studios with great acoustics and top-of-the-range equipment truly elevates a session, and having all of this in a prime London spot is so convenient,” said UK singer-songwriter SHELLS, who’s already broken in the new rooms. Dance artist SILK called it “an absolute game-changer” after his first session there.

For Armada CEO Maykel Piron, the move isn’t just about square footage—it’s about staking claim in a market that’s long been essential to global dance culture. “The UK has always played a crucial role in shaping the global dance scene,” Piron said. “Strengthening our footprint here allows us to drive innovation in one of music’s most influential markets.”

It’s also a continuation of Armada’s UK push that began in 2017, when the label first opened its London office. Since then, the team has doubled in size, fueled chart campaigns like D.O.D’s Top 20 hit So Much In Love and the resurgence of Mason & Princess Superstar’s Perfect (Exceeder), and supported global names like Armin van Buuren, Joris Voorn, Lilly Palmer, THEMBA, and ARTY.

Ben Malone, Armada Music UK’s GM, framed the Shoreditch opening as a cultural play as much as a corporate one: “This new hub will empower us to further champion local artists, provide them with unparalleled resources, and foster more innovation and creativity in the UK.”

As the industry eyes London for the next generation of electronic music talent, Armada’s new HQ feels less like an office and more like a statement: the dance giant isn’t just here to stay—it’s here to build.
