Blawan is back with “Rabbit Hole,” the latest taste of his upcoming debut album SickElixir, dropping October 10 on XL Recordings. Where the first single “NOS” came at you with pure pulsing intensity, this one twists inward – pairing his own vocals with German artist Monstera Black to create something darker, rawer, and way more vulnerable. Listen below.

The album has been pieced together between Berlin, Leeds, Paris, and Lisbon, with Blawan pouring grief, family turmoil, and heavy life changes into 14 tracks that feel chaotic yet laser-focused. It follows a killer run of releases on XL, such as 2021's Woke Up Right Handed, 2023's Dismantled Into Juice, and last year’s BouQ, which pushed his distorted broken-pop meets slanted techno sound into wild new territory.

A cult figure since the early 2010s, Blawan’s never been afraid to blow up his own rulebook, and SickElixir feels like yet another uncompromising move that is pushing his ever-explorative career into a new chapter. The album lands October 10, with a run of live shows set to land in London and Amsterdam right after (learn more here).
