B Jones: “What began as an intro for my Tomorrowland Mainstage set became a full release on Black Hole Recordings”
With her breathtaking reimagining of Tim Buckley’s legendary ‘Song To The Siren’, B Jones delivers a from-the-heart project that bridges her Ibiza roots with her bold vision for the future — a moment that not only defines her own path, but also lights the way for Spanish artists on the global stage.

From a small town in southern Spain to the pulsing heart of Ibiza, her journey has been fueled by determination, charisma, and an unshakable belief that she could bring her own voice to the global stage. That belief paid off in spectacular fashion: B Jones became the first Spanish DJ to play Tomorrowland’s Mainstage four years in a row, a milestone that turned her into a symbol of possibility for a new generation of artists.
On stage, she tells her story in two voices: the explosive, big-room energy built for mainstages, and the soulful, emotional grooves that pay homage to where she came from. Along the way, she’s launched her own label ARRYBA Music to amplify underrepresented voices, climbed into the DJ Mag Top 100, and shared stages with icons at Ushuaïa, Hï Ibiza, Lollapalooza Berlin, and beyond.
Now, with a fresh wave of releases — including “Girlfriend” with Kryder, “Left to Right” alongside Alok, and “Beautiful” (in tandem with Steve Aoki) — Bea is embracing her moment in the spotlight.
Q: You're the first Spanish artist ever to hit Tomorrowland’s Mainstage and not just once, but consistently. How has that ride changed the way promoters, labels, and fans look at you? And what kind of doors has it opened on Beatport and beyond?
A: It changed everything. Tomorrowland is such a powerful platform that just touching that stage opens doors. It gave me the chance for promoters and labels to really know who I am and to reach out to me. And of course, it helped me connect with so many more fans. It’s been a huge step in my career.
Q: You’ve played on some of the world’s biggest stages, from Dreambeach and Mysteryland to EDC Mexico, Lollapalooza Berlin, and Creamfields Chile. Your sets move from hands-in-the-air big room energy to deeper, groovier underground vibes. Is that a master plan, pure instinct, or simply who you are behind the decks?
A: I have my own style, and that never changes, but a DJ also needs to be a bit of a psychologist. Playing for 10,000 people at a festival is not the same as a sunset club set for 400 people. The crowd, the time, the atmosphere — everything is different. I never prepare a set in advance. I create it in the moment, always watching the crowd in front of me and making sure they enjoy it.
Q: You’ve said before that you’re not just a DJ but also a storyteller on stage. What’s the most surprising or unexpected “story” you’ve told through a set?
A: I think it is more than the story I tell; it’s the story that the audience creates. I build with melodies, drops, and energy that take people higher, but each person writes their own story in that journey. That’s the beauty of it.
Q: As a female pioneer from Spain, you’ve kicked down a lot of doors that were once closed. Do you think the industry is finally opening up for women and underrepresented voices, or are we still just scratching the surface?
A: Today, doors are definitely more open for women in our industry, but there’s still a lot of work to do, not only here but in many professions. Personally, I never felt a door closed to me because of my gender, but I know that’s not the same for everyone. I believe this is the right moment for more women to step forward and shine.
Q: From Ushuaïa to Hï Ibiza, you’ve held down some of the island’s biggest residencies, earning the reputation as an “Ambassador of Ibiza.” How do you feel Ibiza’s club culture has evolved and what Spanish sounds or influences do you wish the world recognized more in electronic music?
A: I’ve seen Ibiza grow and transform over the years. Sometimes I miss the smaller, more underground Ibiza, but today it’s the epicenter of electronic music with the best artists and parties in the world. I’m happy to have lived in both eras. About Spanish influences, I think there are already many Spanish DJs doing incredible work, and I’ve also mixed flamenco with electronic sounds in my own tracks. That passion and rhythm are something special we can bring to the global scene.
Q: You’ve seen your tracks climb up the Beatport charts, rubbing shoulders with both underground and mainstage heavyweights. Do you keep an eye on those rankings, or do you measure success in other ways?
A: For sure. Beatport is not only where I get the tracks I play, but it’s also the platform that inspires me the most. You can really see the direction the industry is going, and when I see my tracks reaching those rankings, it feels like I’m also inspiring others. For me, that's the real success of my career.
Q: After the huge buzz around your “Now We Are Free” remix, you’ve now reimagined Tim Buckley’s legendary “Song To The Siren” for Black Hole Recordings. How did you find that sweet spot between raw beauty and uplifting energy?
A: “Song to the Siren” has always been one of my favorite songs, but I never found an electronic version that I loved to play in my sets. So I decided to create my own, originally as an intro for my Tomorrowland Mainstage set. Later, I was able to release it with Black Hole, which made me very happy. For me, it’s a perfect track to tell a story — it starts delicate and emotional, then rises with trance energy and power. That contrast is what makes it so special.
Q: The vocals are such a centerpiece of the track. What did you want your voice to say or feel that production alone couldn’t?
A: The vocals and melody together are incredible. The vocals bring beauty and intimacy, while the production adds power and energy. Together they don’t just deliver emotion — they lift you up.
Q: If you could breathe new life into any timeless classic, what would be at the top of your list?
A: I’d love to reimagine “Enjoy the Silence” by Depeche Mode. It’s one of those songs that already feels eternal, emotional, and deep — bringing it into today’s electronic sound would be incredible.
Q: Imagine Tomorrowland gives you a blank canvas to design your own stage — no rules, no limits. What’s the theme, and who’s on the lineup?
A: That’s a tough question because Tomorrowland already creates stages that are beyond imagination. Even in my wildest dreams, I couldn’t have designed something better than what they already do. For me, playing there is already like living inside the most perfect dream.
