Hype Label of the Month: La Zic

La Zic – French slang for “la musique” – is the cosmic creation of Milan-based DJ and producer Cristina Lazic, and it’s far more than a record label. Floating somewhere between minimal, deep tech, and melodic house, La Zic channels a sound that feels lunar – hypnotic, magnetic, and full of late-night mystery. Its moon emblem isn’t just an aesthetic choice; it’s a symbol of elegance, balance, and motherhood – the same forces guiding Cristina’s journey as an artist and curator.

Launched in 2024, La Zic exists to cast its glow on artists who deserve to be heard under the strobe lights. The roster includes Mihai Popoviciu, Gio Lucca, Mahony, Sepp, Nu Zau, and Lola Palmer, with Cristina weaving her own deep, elegant productions into the mix.

But the label’s mission goes beyond music. La Zic is a living ecosystem — part record label, part mentorship program, part global gathering. Cristina is using her background at Apple and Google to arm up-and-coming DJs with the tools they need to cut through the noise and own their moment.

With sold-out showcases in Rome and Amsterdam and a stacked release calendar featuring Gruuve, Florentia, and Antonio Romano, La Zic is shaping a future where dance floors feel more connected, more inclusive, and just a little more enchanted.
