St. David Delivers Hefty House Cut “Obsession” on Fleur Shore’s Undergrowth
Italian house talent St. David makes his Undergrowth debut with “Obsession,” a salacious and swinging club-cut built for prime-time dance floor moments.

Italian DJ/producer St. David returns with a powerful new single, “Obsession,” out now via Fleur Shore’s forward-thinking label Undergrowth. Known for his timeless, vinyl-driven house productions, St. David – who is currently a member of the Beatport Next Class of 2025 – continues to champion the raw, groovy sound that has made him a favorite among selectors worldwide.
“Obsession” is a masterclass in crafting beefy, modern house music with classic sensibilities. Built around crisp, low-swinging drum patterns, bouncy sub-bass lines, and flirtatious vocal chants, the track adds a layer of twitchy, resonant synths that bring an energy all its own. Listen below.
Undergrowth itself has quickly emerged as a label to keep our ears peeled for since its launch back in April of this year, with label boss Fleur Shore’s debut singles – including “Higher,” “Bless The House,” and “Move Those Feet” — receiving support from BBC Radio 1 and DJs across the globe. St. David being tapped as the label’s first outside signing feels like a serious level-up for both the artist and the imprint.
With releases on Let’s Play House, Rekids, Definitive, Heist Recordings and his own Theory of Swing Records, St. David has become a true torchbearer for house music’s timeless groove. “Obsession” is his latest statement piece – a hypnotic, club-ready jam built to keep bodies moving until the lights come up.
