Truth x Lies land on acclaimed Electronic Nature’s sister imprint, Electronic Rapture
Truth x Lies unleash “Freaky On The Weekends”, a playful yet hard-hitting house cut built for peak-time mischief. A chunky, rolling bassline underpins the groove, while crisp hats and snappy percussion keep the energy moving.

“We take our music seriously, and we take our community seriously, but we take nothing else seriously,” say Ian Berties and Ryan Howard, aka Truth x Lies, with their whole chests and zero hesitation. The New York duo, formed in 2014, chose their artist name for its duality, at the time reflecting their different approaches to making music. More than a decade on, Truth x Lies have embraced a new chapter: showing up strictly as themselves, with no pretences, and a more mature expression of their fluid house sound.
Since winning Insomniac’s Discovery Project in 2017 with their first-ever original production “City Lights”, they’ve developed a strong presence on the live circuit, performing at major North American clubs and festivals including EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando, and Beyond Wonderland.
Their music’s impact has been recognised with back-to-back placements on 1001 Tracklists’ Top 101 Producers (2023, 2024) and a #15 Tech House ranking on Beatport in 2023. They’ve also released on Stereohype, Terminal Underground, Insomniac Records, Dirtybird, and now, Electronic Rapture, and with a handful of collaborations, including The Chainsmokers, ZHU, Afrojack, Wax Motif, and CID, to name a few.
“Freaky On The Weekends” marks Truth x Lies’ bold debut on Electronic Rapture, a record dripping with character, energy, and a knowing wink to the dance floor.
