Back in 2005, Above & Beyond and their manager James Grant cooked up a side project called Anjunadeep – a place for the deeper, moodier cuts that didn’t quite fit on the glimmering Anjunabeats catalog. What started as a passion project has blown up into one of the most respected labels in dance music.
Anjunadeep’s sound is all about feeling – lush melodies, emotional chords, and grooves built to move dance floors. Over the years, the label has introduced us to heavy-hitters like Dusky, Lane 8, Luttrell, Yotto, Ben Böhmer, Tinlicker, Eli & Fur, and Qrion, plus stacked remix drops from CamelPhat, DJ Koze, Tale Of Us, and many more.
But it’s more than just music – Anjunadeep is a global family, hundreds of thousands (if not millions) strong. They’ve thrown sold-out parties at Printworks and Brooklyn Mirage, hosted dream-weekend festivals on the beaches of Albania, and taken their vibe to fans across five continents.
Nearly 20 years in, they’re still pushing things forward. With the launch of Anjunadeep Explorations, the crew is shining a light on the next generation of deep and melodic talent. Same ethos, bigger vision – soulful, melodic music that hits you right in the chest.
