Island Whispers: Adrien Kepler Unveils a Deep House Escape with ‘Huahine’

With Huahine, Adrien Kepler opens a sonic window onto a secluded Polynesian island, where time seems to slow and nature reigns.

This deep house gem takes its name from a real destination — the island of Huahine — and channels its untouched beauty through sound.

“It’s all about the feeling of a journey,” Adrien explains. “Huahine is one of those rare places where you feel both grounded and completely free. I wanted to translate that into music.”

Built with precision and patience, the track features layered mallets and flutes, crafted with Kontakt to emulate acoustic realism. These are gently carried by a chill, flowing house beat that adds motion without urgency. The use of Diva synths brings warmth and atmosphere, enriching the soundscape without overwhelming it.

Adrien Kepler cites influences like Tim Green, Ben Böhmer, and Tinlicker, and that’s evident in the track’s calm energy and refined melodic structure. Every element is introduced with care, reflecting a long process of experimentation and arrangement.

“The combination of the mallets and flutes is what I’m most proud of,” he shares. “It took time to get it right, but once it clicked, it felt effortless.”

More than a track, Huahine is an invitation to pause, breathe, and let your mind drift toward tropical shores.
