Helsloot, mOat & Pete Josef unite for soulful new single ‘Guard Your Joy’
The third single from ‘Body Language Vol. 27’ blends heartfelt songwriting with warm grooves and timeless club energy.

Get Physical Music presents the third single from the upcoming Body Language Vol. 27 compilation, curated by Dutch producer Helsloot. Titled ‘Guard Your Joy’, the track is a collaboration with mOat and features the captivating vocals of Pete Josef. Out now, it continues the journey toward the full compilation, set for release later this year.
Following the singles ‘Be Strong’ and ‘We Get High’, this new release adds a soulful dimension to the project. Built around a flowing rhythm and deep bassline, ‘Guard Your Joy’ pairs Josef’s soaring vocal performance with Helsloot and mOat’s crisp, modern production. The arrangement evolves naturally, balancing intimacy with an uplifting dancefloor energy.
The song’s origins trace back to a guitar-led sketch, giving it an organic heart that shines through in both the lyrics and delivery. Josef’s words reflect on connection, loss, and resilience, with the central message serving as both reminder and affirmation: protect joy, nurture friendship, and hold on to what matters most.
mOat, a trio of DJs and producers whose work has gained support from Solomun, Keinemusik, Damian Lazarus, and Hot Since 82, bring their signature depth to the production, weaving in lush textures and hypnotic layers. Together with Helsloot’s melodic precision and Josef’s emotive vocal style, the result is a track that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant.
‘Guard Your Joy’ is a radiant single that encapsulates the spirit of Body Language Vol. 27 — music that is thoughtful, emotional, and designed for connection on and off the dancefloor.
