San Holo Launches ‘Wholesome Riddim’ Remix Contest for New Single ‘IYKYK’
Producers are invited to rework “IYKYK” for a chance at an official release, show tickets, and Wholesome Riddim merch.

San Holo has announced a remix competition for “IYKYK”, the latest single in the Dutch producer’s bold new chapter, Wholesome Riddim. Released with vocals from Amanda Joy, the track explores the intersection of San Holo’s emotionally charged songwriting and the heavier, bass-driven textures of riddim.
San Holo, born Sander van Dijck, first rose to prominence during the SoundCloud era, blending future bass with indie and alt-rock influences, often accompanied by his own guitar work. His breakthrough debut album established him as a singular voice in electronic music, garnering admiration from figures as varied as Rivers Cuomo, Tom Morello, and Porter Robinson. With Wholesome Riddim, he is diving into uncharted territory - injecting his melodic sensibility into the intensity of riddim while maintaining the intimate, vulnerable ethos of his “stay vibrant” philosophy.
The contest invites producers to reinterpret “IYKYK” (150 BPM, B minor) in their own style, with the winning remix in line for an official release. In addition, the winner will receive tickets to a San Holo headline show of their choice (excluding festivals) and a Wholesome Riddim shirt, with runners-up also earning merchandise.
