On Saturday September 6th, ANTS METALWORKS returns to Ushuaïa Ibiza with a heavyweight lineup and the first appearance of its 2025 Next Gen winners.
Kilimanjaro and HoneyLuv B2B TSHA lead the bill, while Australian duo DARKHORSE & Grouse step up for their debut as this year’s Next Gen artists.
Selected from more than 1,500 entrants, the pair were chosen by a judging panel that included Yann Pissenem, Andrea Oliva and Chelina Manuhutu. Known for their SWITCH brand of beachside warehouse raves and releases on Moxy Muzik and META, DARKHORSE & Grouse have been carving a name for themselves in Australia’s underground. They also host The Beat podcast, which highlights the culture driving their local scene.
Now in its third year, the Next Gen program has become a platform for discovering and supporting upcoming talent. Powered by partners like SoundCloud, AlphaTheta and DJ Mag, the initiative offers mentorship, industry access and international exposure, with the flagship prize being a debut set at Ushuaïa.

This weekend’s showcase unfolds within the world of ANTS METALWORKS, a new production concept that transforms Ushuaïa into a giant factory. Towering steel structures and moving machinery set the scene, while The Colony gathers each week to power the spectacle with its energy.
Running every Saturday from May through October, ANTS has built a reputation as one of Ibiza’s most influential underground parties. The METALWORKS edition pushes production further, combining the music with a dystopian narrative of machines, anomalies and the rise of “Chromatic ANTS.”
For DARKHORSE & Grouse, the show marks a defining step. What began with grassroots raves on Australia’s coast now lands them on one of the island’s biggest stages, placing their sound in front of The Colony for the first time.
