Michael Dodman, better known as Huxley, is a versatile producer and DJ whose sound effortlessly spans main room house, techno, UK bass, and deeper emotive textures. His 2012 breakthrough hit “Let It Go” on Hypercolour, established him as a forward-thinking artist, and since then he’s released on prestigious labels such as Aus Music, Toolroom, Rekids, Knee Deep In Sound and his own Dumb Safari label.
Collaborations with artists like Sam Russo, Ethyl, and J.Phlip, highlight his wide-ranging influence. In 2022, Huxley launched Dumb Safari, a label dedicated to creative freedom and pushing genre boundaries across house, techno, and UK garage. Debuting with his own track “AFN,” the label has since featured notable releases including “Since” with Wouter S and Chicago Hustle, and solo tracks like “The Rooftop”. Dumb Safari embodies Huxley’s commitment to fostering a forward-thinking community of artists while delivering fresh, innovative sounds to the global dancefloor.
