Get Physical Music presents ‘Bad Habit’, the latest single from Yulia Niko’s forthcoming compilation ‘Body Language Vol. 26’. Teaming up with UK producer Alfonso Muchacho, Niko delivers a darkly polished and soulful take on Jenny Burton’s 1985 anthem, transforming it into a hypnotic late-night cut designed for today’s dancefloors.

Anchored by Burton’s timeless vocal hook, ‘Bad Habit’ balances stripped-back percussion, deep basslines, and brooding textures with a sultry, attitude-filled vocal. The result is a simmering groove that nods to its roots while fully embracing a modern underground energy. More raw and club-driven than the compilation’s earlier singles, the track showcases the synergy between two artists with distinct yet complementary styles.

Niko brings her precision, minimal flair, and emotive club sensibility, while Muchacho contributes his signature mysticism, hypnotic grooves, and textured sound design. Together, they strike a balance between nostalgia and innovation. ‘Bad Habit’ follows the release of singles ‘Just Just’ (with Rework) and ‘So In Love With You’, further cementing Yulia Niko’s ability to connect classic influences with contemporary club culture.

For Alfonso Muchacho, the track marks a standout collaboration that captures his unique approach to sonic storytelling. As part of the journey toward the full release of ‘Body Language Vol. 26’ on September 19, ‘Bad Habit’ reflects the spirit of the project: bold, genre-fluid, and emotionally charged. Out now on Get Physical Music.
