“Can you hear my heart cry for you?” - the haunting refrain from Oliver Heldens and Poppy Baskcomb’s “Heart Cry” takes on a vivid new life with the release of its official remix pack. Originally a sweeping blend of melodic techno and trance, pairing Oliver’s atmospheric production with Poppy’s emotive vocal following her breakout on Tiësto’s “Drifting,” the track now returns in seven striking new forms.

Selected from over 350 submissions to Beatport’s Flip It First remix contest, the winning entries from Feras Al Qasid, Menshee, Country Club Martini Crew, and Michael Leathers push the original into unexpected terrain.

Menshee’s rework fuses soaring festival-ready chords with a rugged UK bassline groove, while Country Club Martini Crew layers Poppy’s vocal over uplifting M1 keys, shuffling UKG-inspired drums, and bass-heavy drops. Michael Leathers strips the track into a taut, minimal groove before unleashing a gritty, mainstage electro payoff, and Feras Al Qasid delivers a rhythmically rich interpretation steeped in afro house textures.

Adding to the collection are official remixes from Tollef, Sebastian Wibe, and Midnight in Amsterdam.

Tollef reshapes the lead into a call-and-response with gospel-inflected vocal chops, crafting a buoyant, feel-good house workout. Sebastian Wibe leans into high-BPM trance energy, layering tension through each drop before a euphoric, hands-in-the-air finale. Midnight in Amsterdam flips the tempo entirely, delivering a propulsive 174 BPM drum & bass version that injects adrenaline while retaining the emotional depth of the original.

From sunset grooves to peak-time power and high-speed drive, the “Heart Cry (Remix Pack)" shows just how many ways one song can make the dancefloor feel something new, without ever losing the heart at its core.
