Lady of the House & LabelRadar Spotlight Brazil’s Female Electronic Trailblazers
Lady of the House and LabelRadar join forces to spotlight Brazil’s rising female and non-binary electronic talent, handpicked by some of the scene’s most respected artists. The result: a groundbreaking winners’ EP set for release on September 5th, 2025.

As the electronic music scene continues to evolve, the spotlight increasingly turns to those breaking barriers and reshaping the future, and few collaborations embody this spirit more powerfully than the partnership between Lady of the House and LabelRadar. Their latest initiative has set the stage to launch Brazil’s freshest female and non-binary electronic artists onto the global stage, culminating in the eagerly awaited winners’ EP, dropping on September 5th, 2025.
This groundbreaking project began with a simple but revolutionary concept: to discover Brazil’s next electronic stars without preconceptions. Hundreds of demos poured in from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro, all sent in blind to a panel of “Label Godmothers” - iconic figures in the scene such as techno powerhouse Joyce Muniz, genre-defying Aninha, and house legend Carola, renowned for their performances at festivals like Coachella and Tomorrowland.
Laila Mckenzie, founder of Lady of the House, explains the ethos: “The Godmothers picked winners based only on the music.” This transparent, sound-first approach ensured that no name or profile overshadowed raw talent and creativity.

LabelRadar: The Crucial Catalyst for Emerging Talent
Integral to this project’s success is LabelRadar - a platform championing unsigned artists and labels by connecting them directly with industry tastemakers and labels worldwide. LabelRadar’s role in this Brazil Demo Contest, spearheaded by ambassador and Brazilian artist CAMZ, was pivotal. By curating submissions and providing a powerful launchpad, LabelRadar helped amplify voices that might otherwise have been lost in the noise.
