Zerothree has announced a remix competition for Nihil Young’s “Shutterblade”, offering producers the opportunity to reimagine one of the Italian producer’s most enduring tracks while celebrating the release of his new collaboration “Running” with TYGR TYGR.
Known for his polished, melodic techno and progressive house productions, Nihil Young has released on respected imprints including Toolroom, Kittball, and his own Frequenza Records. His work has earned support from artists such as Solomun, Kölsch, and CamelPhat, and “Shutterblade” remains a fan favourite for its rolling groove, hypnotic synth layers, and immersive atmosphere.
The contest ties into the promotional campaign for “Running”, set for release on 15 August via Zerothree. To access the stems for “Shutterblade”, entrants must pre-save the new single, then complete their remix for a chance to win educational resources and professional feedback directly from Nihil Young.
