Dutch Dance Music Icons Deliver Euphoric Festival Anthem Featuring Libby Whitehouse
Two of the biggest names in electronic dance music, Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren, have finally joined forces to release their highly anticipated debut collaboration, “Sleepless Nights”, out now via Armada Music. The track, driven by Libby Whitehouse’s powerful vocals, seamlessly blends Garrix’s cutting-edge production style with Armin’s signature trance energy, creating a euphoric anthem built for peak-time festival moments.
First-Ever Collaboration Between EDM Powerhouses
Although Garrix and van Buuren have been friends for years, “Sleepless Nights” marks the first time they’ve combined their creative forces in the studio. The track captures the restless, high-energy atmosphere of late-night dance floors while delivering the uplifting, emotional release that has defined both artists’ careers.
The single made its live debut during their back-to-back sets at Ultra Music Festival Miami, and has since become a mainstay in their performances at EDC Las Vegas, Cape Town, and Johannesburg. Both DJs share an unparalleled achievement in dance music history — five-time winners of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, jointly holding the record for the most wins.
Martin Garrix: 2025 Performance Milestones
Martin Garrix has had a landmark year, including:
- First artist to perform three consecutive nights at L.A. State Historic Park — selling out 40,000 tickets for the first two shows before adding a third due to overwhelming demand.
- Four-night Las Vegas takeover with shows at OMNIA, TAO Beach Club, and EDC.
- Upcoming two-night sold-out run at Red Rocks Amphitheater in October.
In the studio, Garrix has kept the momentum with collaborations including “Peace of Mind” with Citadelle, “MAD” with Lauv, and two tracks with Arijit Singh — “Angels for Each Other” (featuring Garrix’s own vocals for the first time) and “Weightless.”
Armin van Buuren: Expanding Creative Horizons
Armin van Buuren began 2025 with his Pillars of Creation live concept, premiered in the desert dunes of Ras Al Khaimah. His A State of Trance Festival hit Rotterdam in February and London in July, with a Mexico debut set for November.
This summer, Armin launched a 9-show Ushuaïa Ibiza residency, opening with a rare six-hour set before weekly performances with special guests such as Cosmic Gate and Vini Vici. He continues to tour globally with his The Orb immersive live show.
In June, he released his ninth studio album, “Breathe”, a 51-track project exploring mental health, personal growth, and artistic freedom. The album features standout collaborations with Bon Jovi, Pendulum & Rob Swire, and Sam Gray, as well as the lead single “Let It Be For Love” ft. JAI RYU.
