Change the Beat and Peace Bisquit have announced a new remix competition for “Restless”, a collaborative single from two pioneering forces in house music: Ultra Naté and Tedd Patterson. Open exclusively to women and gender expansive producers, the contest offers a pathway to an official release on BluFire/Peace Bisquit and prizes from Native Instruments, while reinforcing the mission of inclusivity within the global dance music community.

Released through Peace Bisquit, “Restless” sits at the intersection of deep groove, vocal soul, and legacy-driven house. With its potent combination of Ultra Naté’s commanding voice and Tedd Patterson’s club-hardened production, the track is a call to the dancefloor, and now a canvas for the next generation of producers.

Ultra Naté has remained one of dance music’s most enduring and impactful voices since the early ‘90s. Named one of Billboard’s “Greatest Dance Artists of All Time,” she is best known for genre-defining hits such as “Free,” “If You Could Read My Mind,” and “Automatic,” and continues to bridge the legacy of classic house with contemporary relevance.
