Foux Hits the Highway of Sound with “Long Road”
Foux takes us on an introspective expedition with Long Road, a melodic electronic track rooted in the spirit of travel, both physical and emotional.

Inspired by the iconic imagery of Route 66, Long Road unfolds like a cinematic road trip, where evolving landscapes and shifting moods blend into a rich sonic tapestry.
“This track was born just before my live set at La Boule Noire,” Foux shares. “I envisioned myself on stage, driving through vast spaces — that helped unlock something creatively.”
The result is a piece that grows progressively, led by expressive synth layers and a warm, pulsing bassline. The rhythmic foundation, reworked in ternary time, adds a subtle sway that enhances the narrative arc of the track.
Influenced by NTO’s minimalist mastery, especially tracks like Les Orangers and La Clé des Champs, Foux applies a similar methodology: building and renewing a motif without overwhelming it.
“I wanted to make a long track that doesn’t feel long — one that breathes and moves,” he explains.
The first drop at 2:46 is a key moment, where calm gives way to a surge of energy. It’s no surprise Foux is eager to play it live.
“It’s the kind of track you don’t just listen to — you travel with it.”
With Long Road, Foux delivers more than a track — he offers a destination.
