Remix HUGEL’s “Loosen Up” for a Chance at an Official Release on Make The Girls Dance Records
HUGEL and Make The Girls Dance Records have launched a remix competition for “Loosen Up”, giving aspiring producers the chance to be officially signed and heard worldwide.

Multi-platinum producer, DJ, and global club mainstay HUGEL has announced an official remix competition for his latest single “Loosen Up”, a sultry blend of R&B and Afro house released on his label Make The Girls Dance Records, in partnership with Virgin Music.
A collaboration with French-American producer and vocalist Dawty, and featuring the rich, soulful voice of Preston Harris (known for his work with Kaytranada, Terrace Martin, and Hit-Boy), the original track merges rhythmic Afro-inspired grooves with warm, vocal-driven sensuality. The result is a summer-ready anthem designed for dancefloors and open-air stages alike.
“Songs like this are the reason I started Make The Girls Dance Records,” HUGEL said in a statement. “It’s the kind of record that gets everyone moving—every time I play it. I’m excited to hear how others reinterpret it.”
With a back catalogue of chart-topping collaborations and headline slots at Tomorrowland, Pacha Ibiza, and Ultra Europe, HUGEL has established himself as a leading name in crossover club music. His signature blend of Latin house, Afro-influences, and pop accessibility has helped him rack up over 1 billion streams, multiple platinum certifications, and support from the likes of Diplo, David Guetta, and FISHER.
