A New Era of Queer & Femme Bass Music
Bass n Babes Records Releases Their Debut Compilation Album to Uplift LBGTQ Producers

Bass n Babes, LA’s hottest queer and femme bass music collective, is leveling up with the launch of its independent music label and the release of its first compilation album, Bass n Babes Vol. I. Known for immersive events, community organizing, and advocacy around gender diversity in the industry, Bass n Babes now invites listeners into a new world of bass music—one that’s fierce, feminine, and fearlessly inclusive.
A Label with a Mission
Bass n Babes Records is more than just a label—it’s a platform for queer and feminine expression in bass music. Bridging the gap between the LGBTQ+ community and the bass scene, the label aims to spotlight the untapped talent of women and LGBTQ+ artists. With a deep-rooted ethos of connection, community, and underground culture, Bass n Babes is creating a space where unity, euphoria, and bold sound reign supreme.
Bass n Babes Vol. I: A Sonic Manifesto
The eleven-track, multi-genre compilation explores the full spectrum of bass music—including dubstep, 140/deep dub, drum & bass, trap, breaks, and experimental bass. It features rising queer and femme talent from across Los Angeles, Denver, Vancouver, and San Diego:
Featured Artists:
HerShe, Kurei, NotLö, So Sus, Auracle, Baby Kush, Bunny G, farley., Lex Looper, nomi, Roses Grimoire, Shortcvke, tess iconic, and VIOLET.
Visual Identity by ArtFaerie
The compilation’s album artwork, designed by ArtFaerie, stays true to the spirit of the label—queer, ethereal, feminine energy visualized. It’s not just a cover; it’s a reflection of a movement.
A Statement and a Celebration
Bass n Babes Vol. I is more than a compilation—it’s a mission in motion. It redefines what the bass music scene can be: diverse, inclusive, and community-powered. With a collective vision fueled by sound, identity, and self-expression, this release plants the flag for a future where queer and femme artists lead the way.
