I am 41 years old. 
I grew up in Oak Park IL and listened to the mix on WBMX every saturday night while driving into Chicago’s west side neighborhoods to buy liquor.
I started DJing and playing with music software in 1999, but only got serious about music production this year.  My girlfriend bought me an old Roland D2 for my birthday, and I got myself Propellerhead Reason for Christmas.  My poor old D2 is languishing now, but I’m having a blast with Reason.
Thanks to ProtonRadio I’ve started listening to house music again after a long downtempo phase.  I love breaks and progressive house but really anything that’s got a good beat and bass line is cool with me.
